Liz enjoys telling stories...
...and has dedicated at least 90% of a lifetime doing so thus far. That's a lot of stories! After years of training in the theatre between the ages of 7-18, as an actress, a writer, a director, and a producer, Elizabeth attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She graduated with honors with a BFA from the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television in 2008. While her primary focus was screenwriting, and remains so, she became well versed in the areas of producing, directing, and editing through both her training at NYU and through various apprenticeships within the field.
Elizabeth is the two-time recipient of the Fusion Film Festival Screenwriting Award at NYU, first in 2008 for "Since We Left Prague" and as an alum in 2010 for "Mimi and Me". "Mimi and Me" will be Elizabeth's feature film debut, and is currently in development.
Elizabeth is also the president of Passage Pictures, a fledgling company which helps facilitate short film and web content production for up and coming filmmakers and students. In 2009, Passage Pictures produced the headlining web series for Beneflix.com, "Obelisk Road", for which Elizabeth also acted as a director and writer. In 2010, Passage Pictures joined forces with Samuel Baumel of Gravity Sleeps Productions to produce "Being Patient", a short film based on Samara Kelly's award winning one-woman show of the same name. Be on the lookout for "Being Patient" at festivals worldwide in 2011!
